Trisha Goddard To Shine A Light On Lymphoedema In Celebrity Big Brother House

The British Lymphology Society is proud to support its Patron, Trisha Goddard, as she enters the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Trisha, a tireless advocate for lymphoedema awareness, said “I’ll be wearing my compression tights and sleeve in the Celebrity Big Brother house and I’ll definitely be talking all things lymph!" Trisha has had lymphoedema since having treatment for breast cancer in 2010 and she has recently developed the condition in her leg.

As a respected broadcaster and health campaigner, Trisha continues to use her voice to highlight the realities of living with lymphoedema—bringing visibility to a condition that affects more than 400,000 people in the UK.

“We’re thrilled that Trisha is representing the lymphoedema community in such a public and authentic way,” said Co-Chair Lorraine Brown from the BLS, “She’s helping break stigma and raise vital awareness of a condition that too often goes unrecognised.”

Trisha isn’t holding back in the CBB house, talking about living with stage 4 cancer and living her life to the fullest. As she entered the house, she said “I’m doing this to show people that you shouldn’t be so afraid of dying that you become afraid to live”.
