BLS currently has over four hundred members. Nurses and Physiotherapists form the major section of the membership along with doctors, Occupational therapists and Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapists. Membership is open to all healthcare professionals and anyone with an interest in lymphoedema and its treatment, and to corporations and industrial groups that contribute to the advancement of the Society.
Membership Types and Rates
- Individual membership: All health care professionals and therapists directly involved in the management of lymphoedema and any other individuals who are interested in furthering the work of the Society. The annual subscription from 1ST APRIL 2012- 31ST MARCH 2013 is £50.00.
- Student Membership: All those currently undertaking full time study, are involved in the management of lymphoedema and are interested in furthering the work of the Society. The annual subscription from 1ST APRIL 2012- 31ST MARCH 2013 is currently £25.00.
- Collective Membership: Hospitals or other such organisations involved in the management of lymphoedema and who are interested in furthering the work of the Society. The annual subscription from 1ST APRIL 2012- 31ST MARCH 2013 is currently £180.00 for up to six nominated persons belonging to the same PCT/Organistation. However you will only receive four copies of the Quarterly Newsletter.
- Corporate membership: Corporations and industrial groups that contribute to the advancement of the Society and its work. The annual subscription from 1ST APRIL 2012- 31ST MARCH 2013 is currently £1,750.00pa.
